"We’re going to the chapel and we’re gonna get married"

When I was approached by Evi and Dimitris to coordinate their big day, I underestimated how big they were talking. Yet with a Greek Orthodox ceremony and a rustic reception at Three Hierarchs Church at Anatolia College, the 650 guests were treated to the perfect day. On the approach to the hillside church, the pathway was lined with verdant foliage in pretty white planters. The archway entrance to the church was also decorated with the same greenery whilst pretty wreaths hung on the courtyard trees, as the sun dazzled in the deep blue sky. The theme was continued throughout the church and onto the altar.

The reception was held at the Grand Pietra Hall at Porto Pallas. A naturally stunning venue, I wanted to be careful not to detract from the rustic ambience and opted for artistically draped organza, offset with flowers. Best Bits: The extensive candy bar at the reception. Lit with beautiful candles, the scene was a pleasure for all the senses. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Evi and Dimitris long-lasting happiness in their lives together.
