Eleni & Valantis
"To Love, Laughter and Happy Ever After"
Whilst I have organised many weddings at the Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church at Anatolia College, I always take care to make each day individual to the couple. So when Eleni and Valantis asked me to design their wedding, we agreed to create an ambient and intimate ceremony, followed by a fabulous and flamboyant party. The walkway to the church was strewn with pretty petals, as guests met in the courtyard and listened to the traditional Greek music. Flowers were a combination of white roses, greenery and deep shades of blue to blend with the groom’s attire. The bride stunned in a lace gown with sweetheart neckline and pretty bow detail.
The reception was held on the terrace at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall. Tasteful centrepieces decorated the table and the glass balustrade was softened by draped organza. As a flamingo sky said goodbye to the sun, the party vibe kicked in with dancing lasting into the early hours. My favourite bit, the Handmade favours, created by the mother of the bride and eye-catching candy bar loaded with sugary treats.
